Hi, i realise that the correct engine oil for my DIESEL engine is listed as MB 229.51 fully synthetic 5w-40 however i keep seeing some oils where it says BOTH MB 229.31 / MB 229.51 on the label. Don't take this the wrong way, if you don't know how to work on cars you should not own this Jeep. 3. If your turbo had a blown seal, it would be blowing smoke and consuming a large amount of oil. 40- 60p.s.i of oil pressure would drain oil quick. Do the elephant hose, don't worry what color seal.
